Refund & cancellation policy
Effective 21 August 2026 · Applies to the Nakhre Android app (com.nakhre.app) · Operated by Mediarun Digital Private Limited
Nakhre sells prepaid credit called Love Coins. You recharge a wallet, and the wallet pays for minutes of conversation as you use them. That shape decides everything below, so it is worth saying once, plainly:
Love Coins you have not spent are refundable. Love Coins you have spent are not. Spent credit bought you a conversation and you had it. Unspent credit is money sitting in an account, and it is still yours. We do not keep it because you asked for it back.
The rule
Ask for a refund and we look at your balance right now, not at what you bought. Whatever Love Coins are still in the wallet are converted back to rupees at the rate of the recharge you are asking about, and that is the amount returned.
A worked example, because a rule without one is an argument waiting to happen. Suppose you recharged the ₹118 pack and it gave you 150 Love Coins:
| Love Coins remaining | You get back | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 150 — you never used it | ₹118, in full | Nothing was delivered. |
| 75 — you used half | ₹59 | Half the conversation happened. Half the money stays. |
| 0 — you used all of it | Nothing | You had every minute you paid for. |
Your wallet is a single balance, not a stack of separate recharges. We do not try to work out which particular recharge a given minute came out of, because there is no honest answer to that — the rupees are mixed. We look at what is there.
A refund closes the credit, not the account. The amount refunded is removed from your wallet at the same moment, so a refund never leaves you holding both the money and the minutes. Your account, your chats and anything a character remembers are untouched unless you also ask us to delete them — that is a separate thing, and you can do it yourself.
Where you paid matters
Google is the seller of record and Google decides. Their refund policy applies, not this one, and requests go to them — from the Play Store app, or at Google's refund page. Google can and does approve full refunds without consulting us.
When they do, we are told afterwards, and the matching credit is removed from your wallet automatically. If it had already been spent we take back whatever is left and the shortfall is written off — we will not put an account into debt over a refund.
The reversal appears in your statement as Recharge refunded, next to the recharge it undoes.
Where the app offers a payment method that is not Google Play, we are the seller and the rule above is ours to apply. Write to info@mediarun.co.in from the number on the account, or from any address, telling us roughly when you recharged.
We reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 working days, and how long it then takes to appear on a statement is your bank's business, not ours — for UPI it is usually the same day, for cards it can be a further week.
There is no cancellation step to worry about: nothing here renews, nothing bills you monthly, and there is no subscription to stop.
The exceptions
Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under Indian consumer law. Where the two disagree, the law wins.
Before you write in
Every rupee in and out of your wallet is listed in the app under Settings → Wallet: the recharge, each minute charged and which character it was with, the welcome bonus, and any refund. It is the same record we look at, and most "why was I charged?" questions are answered by reading it.
If it still looks wrong, write to us and say what you expected to see. We will pull up that ledger and explain it line by line, and if we got it wrong we will fix it and say so.
